What is Kamagra Gold?

Uses of Kamagra Gold
Kamagra Gold (sildenafil citrate) is used for:
- Erectile dysfunction (ED) – when it is hard to get or keep an erection firm enough for sex.
The tablet only helps when you are sexually aroused. It will not create an erection by itself, it does not boost libido, and it is not a treatment for premature ejaculation. It gives no protection against pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections.
Which strength? 50 mg is the usual starting dose for most men. 100 mg is the maximum standard dose and is normally used when 50 mg has not been effective enough. Your doctor will tell you which strength suits you.
Kamagra Gold is for adult men only.
How does Kamagra Gold work?
Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. When a man is aroused, nitric oxide is released in the penis, relaxing the blood vessels so they fill with blood. The enzyme PDE5 normally breaks down the chemical signal (cGMP) that keeps those vessels relaxed. By blocking PDE5, sildenafil lets the signal last longer, which makes an erection easier to achieve and maintain.
Onset: usually 30–60 minutes after swallowing the tablet; a large or fatty meal can slow it down.
Duration: the window in which you can respond to stimulation is roughly 4–5 hours. It does not cause a continuous erection for that time.
Kamagra Gold dosage: how to take it
- Swallow one tablet whole with water, about 1 hour before sex (between 30 minutes and 4 hours beforehand).
- Maximum one tablet in 24 hours – do not combine a 50 mg and a 100 mg tablet.
- Most men begin with 50 mg. Your doctor may raise the dose to 100 mg or lower it to 25 mg depending on how well it works and how you tolerate it. Men over 65 and people with liver or kidney problems are often started on a lower dose.
- It can be taken with or without food, but it tends to work faster on an empty stomach.
- Limit alcohol and avoid grapefruit juice.

Kamagra Gold side effects
Most side effects of sildenafil are mild and wear off within a few hours. The 100 mg strength is more likely to cause them than 50 mg.
Common side effects:
- Headache
- Facial flushing
- Indigestion
- Stuffy nose
- Dizziness
- Temporary visual changes – blue-tinted or blurred vision, light sensitivity
- Muscle aches or back pain
Get emergency medical help if you notice:
- An erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism)
- Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
- Sudden hearing loss or ringing in the ears
- Chest pain, irregular heartbeat or fainting
- Swelling of the face, lips or throat, rash or difficulty breathing
Who should not take Kamagra Gold?
Do not take Kamagra Gold if you:
- Use any nitrate (e.g. nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate) or recreational “poppers” – blood pressure can fall to a dangerous level
- Take riociguat for pulmonary hypertension
- Are allergic to sildenafil or any ingredient in the tablet
- Have been advised to avoid sexual activity because of heart problems
- Recently had a heart attack or stroke, or have very low blood pressure
- Have severe liver disease
- Have had NAION (a type of sight loss) or have retinitis pigmentosa
Check with your doctor first if you have heart disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, a bleeding disorder, a stomach ulcer, sickle cell anaemia, leukaemia, multiple myeloma, or an anatomical condition of the penis such as Peyronie’s disease.
Kamagra Gold drug interactions
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines and supplements you use. Key interactions with sildenafil:
- Nitrates and riociguat – never combine.
- Alpha-blockers (e.g. doxazosin, tamsulosin, alfuzosin) – risk of dizziness and fainting; a lower starting dose may be needed.
- Blood pressure medicines – may add to the blood-pressure-lowering effect.
- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir and other HIV protease inhibitors, ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin and erythromycin – increase sildenafil levels; your doctor may limit the dose.
- Other ED medicines – do not use with other sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil or avanafil products.
- Alcohol and grapefruit – can increase side effects.
How to store Kamagra Gold
Store Kamagra Gold below 30°C in a dry place, inside the original blister strip to protect it from light and moisture. Keep out of the sight and reach of children and do not use after the expiry date on the pack.
