Why Cenforce 200 is not a licensed dose
Cenforce 200 contains 200 mg of sildenafil, twice the highest licensed dose. Taking more than 100 mg does not reliably improve erections, but it does make side effects such as headache, flushing, dizziness, blurred or blue-tinted vision and low blood pressure more likely. Do not take a 200 mg tablet, or two 100 mg tablets together, unless your prescriber has specifically set that dose. - Nitrates, including glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) sprays or tablets, isosorbide mononitrate and recreational “poppers”. Together with sildenafil they can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
- Riociguat, used for some types of pulmonary hypertension.
- Other ED medicines, such as tadalafil, at the same time.
Use with care
- Alpha-blockers such as doxazosin or tamsulosin can add to the blood-pressure-lowering effect. Your doctor may start you on a lower sildenafil dose.
- Some antifungal, antibiotic and HIV medicines (for example ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin or ritonavir) can raise sildenafil levels.
