It is prescribed for adult men who have both erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE).
Instead of taking two separate medicines, Super P-Force treats both problems with a single tablet taken before sex. Sildenafil helps you get and keep an erection, while dapoxetine helps delay ejaculation and gives you more control.
Super P-Force comes in blister strips of 4 tablets. Choose a pack of 60, 120, 180 or 240 tablets – the larger the pack, the lower the price per tablet.
Uses of Super P-Force
Super P-Force (sildenafil 100 mg + dapoxetine 60 mg) is used for:
- Erectile dysfunction (ED) – difficulty getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sex.
- Premature ejaculation (PE) – ejaculating sooner than you or your partner would like, with little control over it.
It is intended for men aged 18 to 64 who have both conditions. If you only have one of them, a single-ingredient medicine is usually more suitable – ask your doctor.
Super P-Force only helps an erection when you are sexually aroused. It does not increase libido and it does not protect against pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections.
How does Super P-Force work?
The two ingredients work in different ways:
- Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. During arousal it helps the blood vessels in the penis relax, so more blood can flow in and an erection is easier to achieve and maintain.
- Dapoxetine is a short-acting SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). It briefly raises serotonin levels in the nervous system, which slows the ejaculation reflex and helps you last longer.
Onset: both ingredients start to work within about 1 hour.
Duration: the effect usually lasts around 4 to 6 hours. Dapoxetine is removed from the body quickly, so it is designed to be taken only when needed, not every day.
Super P-Force dosage: how to take it
- Take one tablet with a full glass of water 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity.
- Never take more than one tablet in 24 hours.
- Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew it.
- It can be taken with or without food, although a heavy meal may delay the effect.
- Do not drink alcohol with Super P-Force – alcohol increases the risk of dizziness and fainting caused by dapoxetine.
- Sit or lie down straight away if you feel light-headed, and do not drive or operate machinery until you feel normal.
Always use the dose prescribed by your doctor. If you think you have taken too much, seek medical help immediately.
Super P-Force side effects
Most side effects are mild and short-lived, but this combination can cause more side effects than either ingredient alone.
Common side effects:
- Headache
- Nausea
- Dizziness or light-headedness
- Flushing
- Blocked nose
- Diarrhoea or indigestion
- Trouble sleeping or feeling tired
- Temporary changes in vision (blue tint, blurring)
Stop taking it and get medical help straight away if you have:
- Fainting, or feeling faint when you stand up
- An erection lasting longer than 4 hours
- Sudden loss of vision or hearing
- Chest pain or an irregular heartbeat
- Seizures, confusion or a sudden change in mood
- Swelling of the face, lips or throat, a rash or difficulty breathing
Who should not take Super P-Force?
Do not take Super P-Force if you:
- Take any nitrate medicine for chest pain or use “poppers”
- Take riociguat for pulmonary hypertension
- Take antidepressants (SSRIs, SNRIs, tricyclics or MAO inhibitors), lithium, St John’s wort, tramadol, linezolid or triptans for migraine – or have taken them in the last 14 days
- Have a heart condition such as heart failure, a heart-rhythm problem, a recent heart attack or stroke
- Have moderate or severe liver disease
- Have a history of fainting, mania or severe depression
- Are allergic to sildenafil, dapoxetine or any ingredient of the tablet
- Are under 18 or over 64 years old
Talk to your doctor first if you have epilepsy, glaucoma, low or high blood pressure, kidney problems, a bleeding disorder, sickle cell anaemia, or an eye condition such as retinitis pigmentosa.
Super P-Force drug interactions
Tell your doctor about every medicine, supplement and herbal remedy you use. Important interactions include:
- Nitrates and riociguat – must never be combined with sildenafil.
- Serotonin-affecting medicines (antidepressants, lithium, tramadol, triptans, St John’s wort) – risk of serotonin syndrome with dapoxetine.
- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir and clarithromycin – greatly increase blood levels of both ingredients; do not combine.
- Alpha-blockers and blood pressure medicines – increased risk of dizziness and fainting.
- Other ED or PE treatments – do not take with other sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil or dapoxetine products.
- Alcohol and recreational drugs – avoid; they raise the risk of fainting and serious side effects.
How to store Super P-Force
Store Super P-Force below 30°C in a dry place, in the original blister strip to protect it from light and moisture. Keep out of the sight and reach of children and do not use after the expiry date on the pack.
