What is Vaigra 100?
Vaigra 100 is a generic Viagra tablet. Each tablet contains 100 mg of sildenafil citrate – the same active ingredient, at the same strength, as Viagra® 100 mg. It is an Indian-made generic prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men.

Uses of Vaigra 100
Sildenafil 100 mg is used for:
- Erectile dysfunction (ED) – when it is hard to get or keep an erection firm enough for sex.
It only works when you are sexually aroused. It does not create an erection by itself, does not boost sex drive, is not a treatment for premature ejaculation, and does not protect against pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections.
100 mg is the highest standard dose and is normally used when a lower dose has not worked well enough. It is for adult men only.
How does Vaigra 100 work?
Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. When a man is aroused, nitric oxide relaxes the blood vessels of the penis so they fill with blood. The enzyme PDE5 breaks down the signal that keeps them relaxed. By blocking PDE5, sildenafil lets that signal last longer, so an erection is easier to achieve and keep.
Onset: usually 30–60 minutes after swallowing; a large or fatty meal can slow it down.
Duration: about 4–5 hours.
Vaigra 100 dosage: how to take it
- Swallow one tablet whole with water, about 1 hour before sex (between 30 minutes and 4 hours beforehand).
- Maximum one tablet in 24 hours.
- Most men begin with 50 mg. Your doctor may raise the dose to 100 mg if 50 mg is not enough, or lower it to 25 mg if side effects are a problem. Men over 65 and men with liver or kidney problems are often started on a lower dose.
- It can be taken with or without food, but it works faster on an empty stomach.
- Limit alcohol and avoid grapefruit juice.

Vaigra 100 side effects
Most side effects of sildenafil are mild and wear off within a few hours. They are more likely with the 100 mg dose.
Common side effects:

- Facial flushing
- Indigestion
- Stuffy nose
- Dizziness
- Temporary visual changes – blue-tinted or blurred vision
- Muscle aches or back pain
Get emergency medical help if you notice:
- An erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism)
- Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
- Sudden hearing loss or ringing in the ears
- Chest pain, irregular heartbeat or fainting
- Swelling of the face, lips or throat, rash or difficulty breathing
Who should not take Vaigra 100?
Do not take Vaigra 100 if you:
- Use any nitrate (e.g. nitroglycerin, isosorbide) or recreational “poppers” – blood pressure can fall dangerously low
- Take riociguat for pulmonary hypertension
- Are allergic to sildenafil or any other ingredient
- Have been advised to avoid sexual activity because of heart problems
- Recently had a heart attack or stroke, or have very low blood pressure
- Have severe liver disease, or have lost sight in one eye from NAION
Check with your doctor first if you have heart disease, kidney or liver problems, a bleeding disorder, a stomach ulcer, sickle cell disease, or a condition of the penis such as Peyronie’s disease.
Vaigra 100 drug interactions
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines and supplements you use. Key interactions with sildenafil:
- Nitrates and riociguat – never combine.
- Alpha-blockers (e.g. doxazosin, tamsulosin) – risk of dizziness and fainting.
- Blood pressure medicines – may add to the blood-pressure-lowering effect.
- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir, ketoconazole, itraconazole and clarithromycin – raise sildenafil levels; the dose may need to be limited.
- Other ED medicines – do not use with other sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil or avanafil products.
- Grapefruit juice and heavy alcohol – can increase side effects.

Store Vaigra 100 below 30°C in a dry place, inside the original blister strip to protect it from light and moisture. Keep out of the sight and reach of children and do not use after the expiry date on the pack.

How quickly does sildenafil 100 mg work?
