Description

Buy everolimus 10 mg tablets online as Evermil 10, a generic Afinitor tablet from India. Choose a pack of 30, 60 or 90 tablets above – prices start from $11.09 per tablet, with discreet, tracked worldwide shipping. A valid prescription is required.

What is Evermil 10?

Evermil 10 is a generic Afinitor tablet. Each tablet contains 10 mg of everolimus – the same active ingredient, at the same strength, as brand-name Afinitor® 10 mg. It is an Indian-made generic prescribed by cancer specialists.

Because Evermil 10 is a generic everolimus 10 mg tablet, it works in the same way as the branded medicine at a much lower price – an important saving for a medicine taken every day for months or years.

It comes in blister strips of 10 tablets. On this page you can choose a pack of 30, 60 or 90 tablets.

Uses of Evermil 10

Everolimus 10 mg is prescribed by specialists for:

  • Advanced hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women – together with exemestane, after letrozole or anastrozole has stopped working.
  • Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) of the pancreas, stomach, bowel or lung that cannot be removed by surgery.
  • Advanced kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma) – after treatment with sunitinib or sorafenib.
  • Kidney angiomyolipoma linked to tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC).

The 10 mg tablet is used for cancer treatment. It is not the same as the lower-strength everolimus tablets used after organ transplants. Your oncology team will decide whether it is right for you.

How does Evermil 10 work?

Everolimus is an mTOR inhibitor. The mTOR protein acts like a control switch that tells cells to grow, divide and build new blood vessels. In many cancers this switch is stuck “on”. Everolimus blocks it, which slows tumour growth and cuts off the blood supply that tumours need.

How long does it take to work? Everolimus is a long-term treatment. Your oncology team will judge the benefit with scans over several weeks to months.

Evermil 10 dosage: how to take it

  • The usual dose for cancer is 10 mg (one tablet) once a day, at the same time every day.
  • Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.
  • Take it consistently either always with food or always without food.
  • Your doctor may lower the dose or pause treatment if side effects are troublesome.
  • If you miss a dose, take it up to 6 hours late. After that, skip it and take your next dose as usual. Never take a double dose.

If you think you have taken too much, contact a doctor or emergency service straight away.

Evermil 10 side effects

Like all medicines, everolimus can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Common side effects:

  • Mouth ulcers and sore mouth (stomatitis)
  • Infections
  • Rash and dry skin
  • Tiredness and weakness
  • Diarrhoea and reduced appetite
  • High blood sugar and raised cholesterol
  • Swollen ankles

Get medical help immediately if you have:

  • New or worsening cough, shortness of breath or chest tightness – possible lung inflammation (pneumonitis)
  • Fever, chills or other signs of infection
  • Swelling of the face, lips or throat – possible severe allergic reaction
  • Signs of kidney problems, such as passing much less urine

Your doctor will check your blood counts, kidney function, blood sugar and cholesterol regularly.

Who should not take Evermil 10?

Do not take Evermil 10 if you:

  • Are allergic to everolimus, sirolimus, temsirolimus or any other ingredient of the tablet
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Important safety information:

  • Women who could become pregnant must use effective contraception during treatment and for 8 weeks after the last dose. Men should also use contraception during treatment and for 4 weeks after.
  • Avoid live vaccines and close contact with people who have recently had one.
  • Tell your doctor before any operation – everolimus can slow wound healing.
  • Tell your doctor if you have diabetes, liver or kidney problems, or an active infection (including hepatitis B).

Evermil 10 drug interactions

Tell your doctor about every medicine you take, including those bought without a prescription and herbal products. Important interactions include:

  • Strong CYP3A4/P-gp inhibitors such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin and ritonavir – can greatly increase everolimus levels; avoid.
  • Strong CYP3A4 inducers such as rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin and St John’s wort – can make everolimus less effective.
  • ACE inhibitors (e.g. ramipril, enalapril) – higher risk of angioedema (swelling).
  • Grapefruit and grapefruit juice – avoid.
  • Live vaccines – avoid during treatment.

How to store Evermil 10

Store Evermil 10 below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture, in the original blister pack. Keep it out of the sight and reach of children, and do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.

Evermil 10 – frequently asked questions

Is Evermil 10 the same as Afinitor?

Evermil 10 contains the same active ingredient (everolimus) at the same strength (10 mg) as Afinitor® 10 mg, so it works in the same way. The difference is the manufacturer, the name, the price and possibly the look of the tablet.

How can I manage mouth ulcers caused by everolimus?

Mouth ulcers are very common. Your care team may suggest a steroid-based mouthwash, good oral hygiene, and avoiding spicy, acidic or very hot food. Tell them early – prompt treatment usually helps a lot.

Can I take everolimus with food?

Yes, with or without food – but be consistent. Always take it the same way each day, and avoid grapefruit.

Is the 10 mg tablet the same as the one used after a transplant?

No. Everolimus for organ transplant is sold at much lower strengths (0.25–1 mg) and at a different dose. The 10 mg tablet is used for cancer treatment only.

Do I need a prescription to buy Evermil 10?

Yes. Everolimus is a prescription medicine and should only be taken under the care of a doctor or oncology team. We may ask for a copy of your prescription before we dispatch your order.

Can I have vaccines while taking everolimus?

Non-live vaccines such as the flu jab are usually fine, but live vaccines should be avoided. Always check with your oncology team first.
