Ciasel 20 is a generic Cialis tablet. Each tablet contains 20 mg of tadalafil – the same active ingredient, at the same strength, as Cialis® 20 mg. It is an Indian-made generic prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men.

Uses of Ciasel 20
Tadalafil 20 mg is used for:
- Erectile dysfunction (ED) – when it is hard to get or keep an erection firm enough for sex.
It only works with sexual stimulation. It does not increase sex drive, is not a treatment for premature ejaculation, and does not protect against pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections.
The 20 mg tablet is the on-demand dose. It is not meant for daily use – once-daily tadalafil uses a lower dose (2.5 mg or 5 mg) and is prescribed separately. Tadalafil is for adult men only.
How does Ciasel 20 work?
Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. When a man is aroused, the body releases nitric oxide, which relaxes the blood vessels of the penis so they fill with blood. The enzyme PDE5 breaks down the signal that keeps those vessels relaxed. Tadalafil blocks PDE5, so the signal lasts longer and an erection is easier to achieve and keep.
Onset: usually from about 30 minutes, with the best effect around 2 hours after the tablet.
Duration: up to 36 hours – much longer than sildenafil – though you still need stimulation for an erection.
Ciasel 20 dosage: how to take it
- Swallow one tablet whole with water, at least 30 minutes before sex. It can be taken with or without food.
- Maximum one tablet in 24 hours, and not more than the dose your doctor has prescribed. Do not take it every day.
- Many men start with a lower dose of 10 mg; 20 mg is used if the effect is not enough. Men with liver or kidney problems, and men over 65 may need a lower dose.
- Limit alcohol, which can add to dizziness and reduce the effect.
If you have taken more than prescribed, seek medical advice straight away.
Ciasel 20 side effects
Most side effects of tadalafil are mild and short-lived.
Common side effects:
- Headache
- Indigestion or heartburn
- Back pain and muscle aches (often 12–24 hours after the dose)
- Stuffy nose
- Facial flushing and dizziness
- Pain in the arms or legs
Get emergency medical help if you notice:
- An erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism)
- Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
- Sudden hearing loss, ringing in the ears or dizziness
- Chest pain, irregular heartbeat or fainting
- Swelling of the face, lips or throat, rash or difficulty breathing
Who should not take Ciasel 20?
Do not take Ciasel 20 if you:
- Use any nitrate (e.g. nitroglycerin, isosorbide) or recreational “poppers” – blood pressure can fall dangerously low
- Take riociguat for pulmonary hypertension
- Are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredient
- Have been advised to avoid sexual activity because of heart problems
- Had a heart attack or stroke recently, or have very low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Have severe liver disease or have lost sight in one eye from NAION
Check with your doctor first if you have heart, kidney or liver problems, a bleeding disorder, a stomach ulcer, sickle cell disease, or a condition of the penis such as Peyronie’s disease.
Ciasel 20 drug interactions
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines and supplements you use. Key interactions with tadalafil:
- Nitrates and riociguat – never combine.
- Alpha-blockers (e.g. doxazosin, tamsulosin) – risk of dizziness and fainting.
- Blood pressure medicines – may add to the blood-pressure-lowering effect.
- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir, ketoconazole, itraconazole and clarithromycin – raise tadalafil levels; the dose may need to be lowered.
- CYP3A4 inducers such as rifampicin and carbamazepine – can make tadalafil less effective.
- Other ED medicines – do not use with sildenafil, vardenafil or avanafil.
- Grapefruit juice and heavy alcohol – can increase side effects.

Store Ciasel 20 below 30°C in a dry place, inside the original blister strip to protect it from light and moisture. Keep out of the sight and reach of children and do not use after the expiry date on the pack.
