How does Kamagra Oral Jelly work?
Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. When a man is aroused, nitric oxide relaxes the blood vessels in the penis so they fill with blood. The enzyme PDE5 breaks down the signal that keeps them relaxed. Sildenafil blocks PDE5, so the signal lasts longer and an erection is easier to achieve and maintain.
Onset: the jelly is absorbed quickly through the lining of the mouth and stomach, so many men feel the effect in about 15–30 minutes. A heavy or fatty meal can slow it down.
Duration: about 4–5 hours.
Kamagra Oral Jelly dosage: how to take it
- Take the contents of one sachet directly by mouth, about 15–30 minutes before sex. No water is needed.
- Maximum one sachet in 24 hours. Do not combine it with sildenafil tablets or any other ED medicine.
- It works fastest on an empty stomach. Avoid large or fatty meals beforehand.
- Your doctor may advise a lower starting dose if you are over 65 or have liver or kidney problems.
- Limit alcohol and avoid grapefruit juice.

- Are allergic to sildenafil or any other ingredient
- Have been advised to avoid sexual activity because of heart problems
- Recently had a heart attack or stroke, or have very low blood pressure
- Have severe liver disease, or have lost sight in one eye from NAION
Check with your doctor first if you have heart disease, kidney or liver problems, a bleeding disorder, a stomach ulcer, sickle cell disease, or a condition of the penis such as Peyronie’s disease. The jelly contains sugars and flavourings – mention it if you have diabetes.
Kamagra Oral Jelly drug interactions
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines and supplements you use. Key interactions with sildenafil:
- Nitrates and riociguat – never combine.
- Alpha-blockers (e.g. doxazosin, tamsulosin) – risk of dizziness and fainting.
- Blood pressure medicines – may add to the blood-pressure-lowering effect.
- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir, ketoconazole, itraconazole and clarithromycin – raise sildenafil levels; the dose may need to be limited.
- Other ED medicines – do not use with other sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil or avanafil products.
- Grapefruit juice and heavy alcohol – can increase side effects.
